Annual wine festival to return to Bordeaux
Wine aficionados will be arranging flights to Bordeaux in France soon to attend a popular festival in the city.
Returning for its seventh year, the Bordeaux Wine Festival will take place within the city and around the wider Aquitaine region from June 24th to 27th.
Organisers of the festival state that it will provide plenty of entertainment and stimulation for "lovers of wine, food, celebration and culture", as well as those who would like to learn more about Bordeaux's culture and history.
The 2010 programme will include a section celebrating Quebec in Canada, featuring a special pavilion dedicated to the city and a range of special events and shows due to take place.
People planning to make the most of the wine-tasting opportunities on offer in south-west France can purchase one of the festivals tasting or vineyard passes, which include tours at a number of appellations and wine chateaux.
Flights to Bordeaux are operated by easyJet, Air France, British Airways and other carriers.
