BMI Expansion to Benefit Business to Berlin

BMI have announced that they will be introducing addtional flights between London and Berlin

The second largest air carrier to operate out of London’s Heathrow airport, BMI, has revealed that due to increased demand they are to lay on extra flights to Berlin. With both business and recreational traffic noting an increase between the cities, BMI said that a fifth daily flight was to be added to the schedule allowing more passengers to travel between the ever popular cities.

Already operating four daily flights, the additional flight beginning from June 21st will allow passengers quick access to Germany’s capital city. Leaving Heathrow at 07.10am, flight BD841 will particularly benefit business passengers who may be looking to travel to the city and back within a day for work purposes offering both Economy and Business classes. Speaking of the decision to increase the number of flights between the cities BMI’s Sales and Marketing Director, Katherine Gershon, explained “These extra services reinforce BMI's leading position as the carrier of choice for business travellers. Due to overwhelming demand, our new services mean that London based customers can reach Berlin even earlier for business meetings.”

The move comes as Germany remains one of the most influential nation’s in the eurozone, offering a host of business opportunities for UK residents in addition to a great expanse of rich culture for tourists to enjoy. And with complimentary drinks and food on the plane and prices starting at a very moderate and competitively priced £99, BMI’s fifth daily flight may quickly be filled to maximum capacity.
