Auckland Offers Film Festival for those with Flights to New Zealand

For those who enjoy travelling around the globe in addition to experiencing world film there is a treat in store this July as Auckland hosts the New Zealand International Film Festival. Whilst British individuals are more likely to discover new film at the internationally renowned Cannes festival, a host of competitively priced flights and the lures of the country's rugged and beautiful landscapes may entice film lovers to venture further afield.
Opening on the 8th of July and running until the 25th, New Zealand's largest city will be showing some special screenings of world film, allowing for cinema lovers to combine their passion for screen with the incredible landscapes that the country has to offer. 'A Prophet', the French film which closely missed an Oscar earlier this year, will provide a foreign offering to an eclectic mix of features, which are shown alongside documentaries such as 'Time, Tide and Paradise', a local work by Brian March surrounding the environmentally friendly efforts of a small community.
Showing works across Auckland so as to show the cities versatility at is best, the New Zealand International Film Festival promises a host of diverse films and features for all individuals to enjoy and engage with. And with a range of economy, premium economy and business class flights available from airports around the UK including London Gatwick, London Heathrow, and Glasgow individuals can take the opportunity to explore both world cinema and New Zealand's stunning landscapes within one inspiring trip.
