Luxurious New Hotels Provide Extra Attraction for Antigua

Luxurious New Hotels Provide Extra Attraction for Antigua
Antigua

Antigua is considered to be one of the Caribbean's most luxurious destinantions.

Antigua has long been established as one of the Caribbean's most luxurious destinations. With a different beach for every day of the year, hotels have provided visitors with sublime rooms, treatments and settings perfect to relax even the most stressed of souls. And with a large range of business, premium economy and economy flights to the destination, access to such luxuries may be cheaper than first imagined.

An environment which portrays an exclusive and five star location as soon as one arrives; Antigua has recently begun to develop some of the most stylish apartments and hotels in the world. A $28bn renovation project at the private resort of Jumby Bay has brought 28 new rooms furnished with marble bath tubs, four poster beds and private pools whilst 49 grand houses can also be rented for increased privacy.

However, whilst Jumpy Bay remains the most exclusive resort, a range of upgrades and architecturally advanced hotels have caused Antigua's style to increase, attracting a host of the rich and famous to buy properties there. Tourists can utilise the island's many bed and breakfasts, rent beach cottages or opt for expensive hotels in a bid to enjoy some of the finest Caribbean food and beautiful sprawling beaches. Meanwhile, Stingray City provides a unique opportunity to enjoy the Caribbean's wildlife, whilst divers can enjoy the crystal clear water of the coral reefs. And with a host of routes available from airports across Britain, including London Gatwick, luxury can be closer, and cheaper, than you think.
