InterContinental Hotels has opened a new luxury hotel on Times Square

Internationally renowned InterContinental Hotels has announced the opening of its new luxury flagship hotel on New York's Time Square. The Intercontinental Times Square will be the largest hotel to emerge in Manhattan from the ground up in the past eight years. Located at 44th Street and 8th Avenue, the latest addition to Times Square will offer 607 rooms with spectacular views and sets the future for the hotelier company's luxury branding.

Proving that New York continually offers plenty to travellers from across the globe, the new 36 story hotel will provide full length windows gazing out toward the many iconic landmarks that grace the city, with rooms furnished with a 42" flat screen television in addition to other stunning décor. The hotel will also please environmentally aware individuals, owing to its green certification provided by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). Touch-screen computers and rain showers surrounded in glass compliment all the guestrooms while the lobby garden and hotel artwork aims to provide much-needed relaxation for travellers from the bustle of New York City life.

The hotel promises to provide travellers with the finest experience possible after a hard day's exploring of New York City, where visitors can retire to their hotel room and admire the stunning views of the Hudson River and Times Square. Meanwhile with celebrity chef Todd English's French bistro gracing the restaurant list, there is little else to want for.
