New Business Class Flight Introduced by Alitalia
For the first time Ailtalia is offering a Premium Economy class on flights.
It has been revealed by Alitalia that they have outfitted their two new Airbus A330's with upgraded business and premium economy class features. Whilst the first plane is already in service, the second Airbus will be introduced later this summer and be used for routes heading to Milan from UK airports including London Heathrow.
Using one of the new planes for services to and from Milan Malpensa airport, Alitalia announced that they had completely upgraded their 'Magnifica' Business Class. Including leather seats, which can fully recline, and 15.4 inch entertainment screens with added privacy options, passengers can access more than 40 films and 12 audio channels. Meanwhile headsets specifically manufactured to reduce noise will increase viewing comfort whilst Alitalia's 'Culti' wellbeing amenity kits will offer travellers exclusive products to help them freshen up after a long flight. In addition, custom cabin lighting will allow individuals to create their perfect, relaxing, environment.
Elsewhere the company has also introduced a new 'Classica Plus' class to their Airbus', giving 21 passengers the opportunity to upgrade from economy class. Offering seats 20per cent wider than their economy counterparts, and with reclining abilities of 120 degrees, it is the first time such a class has been implemented in the Italian market. With almost an extra 100cm between seats, this Premium Economy class is likely to be hugely popular with travellers who wish to experience a luxurious, yet affordable flight. Whilst the new business class may be out of some people's reach, Alitalia's premium economy class offers a host of extra's and superior comfort to those who can spend just that little bit extra.
