Award Winning Service Enhanced by Korean Air
Korean Air's new fleet of Airbus A330-200 aircraft produce lower carbon emissions than it's predecessors
Winning a number of awards for its outstanding service, Korean Air has revealed that it is to use next generation planes on its long-haul routes in a bid to provide extra passenger luxury. Expanding the range of services offered within its cabins, the firm's new A330-200 aircraft are also more carbon neutral than its predecessors, offering travellers a means to reduce their carbon footprint.
Flying from both Manchester and London Heathrow airports, the new additions to Korean Air's fleet utilise cutting edge technology to reduce carbon emissions by approximately 650 tonnes per year. In addition, the modern and chic planes allow for a greater range of services to be provided, offering passengers the next generation of air travel. Whilst the company's B777-300ER planes offered cabin services including LED reading lamps, customisable mood lighting and real time videos of landing and takeoff, the new aircraft will incorporate all these features into premium seats across all classes. Allowing for travellers to gain the best and most luxurious journey possible, whatever their budget, it follows the tradition of the company for leading the way in setting service levels.
Flying to destinations around the world including Tokyo, Manila and Phuket, Korean Air's continuing commitment to service has gained them substantial recognition within the industry. Since 2000 the company has won six Top Operational Excellence awards, underlining their detailed eye to maintenance, safety and operating standards. And with their latest announcement, their commitment to service prevails.
