Beijing Airport Gains Luxury Hotel Complex
Beijing Capital International Airport's Terminal 3 has just celebrated its second anniversary
Beijing Capital International Airport, the second busiest airport in the world, is to offer passengers the latest luxury in accommodation. Setting a global trend for offering airport hotels, Hilton Hotels has announced that they are to open China's first luxury airport hotel, providing those departing and arriving with the best service possible.
As an international business hub, Beijing Capital International Airport averages approximately 1,400 flights per day and 65 million visitors per year. And with the Olympic Games of 2008 highlighting China's continuing efforts to provide widespread appeal to western business and tourism, there has been a significant increase in activity. Meanwhile, with the airports Terminal 3 celebrating its second anniversary, the announcement from Hilton Hotels is significant.
Whilst not only offering passengers travelling through the region a high level of accommodation, Hilton Hotels will also be pushing the boundaries in terms of luxurious service. With 320 rooms, the facilities also offer 21 meeting rooms and two ballrooms, allowing for business groups to meet directly at the airport rather than having to travel further afield. Meanwhile a technologically advanced gym and luxury spa are provided in addition to an executive concierge service.
Close to a number of important locations such as the Great Wall, the China International Exhibition Centre, the Summer Palace and the recently built Olympic Village, the new Hilton Hotel will give guests the perfect rest after a busy day, whether sightseeing or business. And with Birmingham, Glasgow and London Gatwick airports all offering routes to the increasingly popular destination, a relaxing and luxurious rest can now be added to any long journey.
