New Flights with EasyJet Revealed
From November EasyJet will provide two new routes from Edinburgh airport
Budget airline EasyJet has revealed that it is to provide two new routes from Edinburgh airport. Starting in November, the budget carrier will provide passengers with flights to both Paphos and Cologne.
As Edinburgh sets its sights on increasing activity and international routes through the hub, the new managing director of the airport, Kevin Brown, explained: "EasyJet is a key partner for Edinburgh Airport and we are working together closely to make sure we can offer passengers the best choice of routes and quality of service that we can."
Coming at the end of the autumn, the first route to begin will be that of the twice weekly service to Paphos, with the inaugural flight leaving on November 3rd. Meanwhile the direct flights to Cologne will launch from November 26th, providing passengers with four flights per week to access one of Germany's largest cities. Speaking of the importance of the new routes for both EasyJet and Edinburgh Airport, commercial manager for the airline, Sophie Dekkers, said "Our priority remains low fares to the most convenient airports so we are delighted to offer an even wider range of destinations to Scottish holidaymakers with the introduction of the Cologne and Paphos routes."
The news comes as EasyJet continues to increase its services from the Scottish airport in a bid to improve international connections and activity. And with the latest routes offering quick access to the popular holiday destination of Paphos, and another to Germany, Scottish passengers look set to enjoy the increased services.
