New Flights with BA Provide London Heathrow to Gothenburg Route
British Airways new route between London Heathrow and Gothenburg commences on 28th November
British Airways (BA) has revealed that they are to provide a new route to the Swedish city of Gothenburg. Flying from London Heathrow the service will commence on 28th November, giving passengers another way to access the popular city.
Now on sale, tickets for the newly established route can be bought from just £45 one way and offer a direct service to Gothenburg. Increasingly popular due to Sweden's recent highlighted public image, particularly due to the award winning and globally best selling 'Millennium Trilogy' by Stieg Larsson, demand to cities across the country have noted significant rises.
Running a twice daily service out of London Heathrow's Terminal 5, BA announced that the new route would provide both business and tourist customers an ideal opportunity to visit somewhere new. "We are really excited about flying to this fabulous city on the south west coast of Sweden" said the head of BA's UK and Ireland sales, Richard Tams. "It boasts Michelin star restaurants, culture and Liseberg, the biggest amusement park in Scandinavia," he added.
Meanwhile BA also revealed that the timing of flights, both arrivals and departures, were carefully planned so that customers needing connections were catered for. Elsewhere, with the airline also developing an iPhone application enabling passengers to check in and receive mobile boarding passes on their phones, BA's new route adds another important service to ensure travellers have the best experience possible.
