Prolific hotelier Accor has revealed that it is to open two hotels in India on the same day, bringing their number of outlets to 101. Launching the Mercure hotel in Hyderabad, and another Mercure in Lavasa, the new chains by Accor will ensure that both business people and tourists to the regions have beautiful accommodation from a branded firm.

With British tourists looking for more adventurous destinations to visit, India is a place that many may be keen to visit. And with such an extensive number of iconic monuments and sights, in addition to large cultural differences, trips to India can provide holidays that will be remember for a lifetime. With Accor's two new hotels, guests travelling in the area can ensure that their busy days end in a relaxing way, leaving them refreshed for the experiences still to come.

With extensive plans to create a hotel group spanning the world, the Mercure Hyderabad hotel is close to the business district and only moments from the famous Charminar monument. With well equipped and spacious rooms, travellers can be assured of a good night's sleep after a day filled with sightseeing. Meanwhile Accor's new Lavasa hotel is the township's first branded hotel, backed by the stunning scenery of the Sahyadri Mountains. Only four hours from Mumbai, the destination offers an attractive setting for those wanting to experience India's rural scenes. And with a range of flights from the UK departing Birmingham and London Heathrow, tourists with an extra sense of adventure could soon enjoy Accor's new hotels as part of their Indian experience.
