Asiana Airlines Selected Airline of the Year by Customers

Asiana Airlines has been voted 'Airline of the Year.'

Asiana Airlines was presented the Airline of the Year award at the Skytrax 2010 World Airline Awards - known around the world as the "Passenger's Choice" of awards.

Skytrax World Airline Awards are both well respected and well recognised around the word as the only truly independent global survey of airlines and their standards of service. Established in 1999, the Skytrax survey applies an unequalled measure of integrity and transparency offered by no other awards given. With over 17.9 million air travellers from over 100 nations taking part in the survey between July 2009 and April 2010, it is indeed a great honour to even be mentioned in the top 10 for this prestigious award. To win it is a positive statement on airline quality and service indeed.

In response to winning the award, Asiana Airlines President and CEO, Mr Young-Doo Yoon had this to say:

Also mentioned in the top 10 for the Skytrax Airline of the Year were Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Air New Zealand, Qantas, Emirates, Thai Airways, and Malaysia Airlines.
