British Airways Increase Flights to the Caribbean
From March next year BA will be increasing flights between Gatwick and the Caribbean
The rustling of swaying palm trees, the gentle sounds of waters lapping at the shoreline, stretches of smooth white beaches beckoning to be walked - these are the things that honeymoons are made of... and who says honeymoons are just for newlyweds?
A trip to the Caribbean provides the perfect setting for a romantic holiday; with hotels located on every island catering to romance and today British Airways has announced that it is to increase it's services to the region from London Gatwick from next March.
One of the most romantic hotels to be found there is the Verandah. Located on the island of Antiqua, Verandah is a 30-acre resort featuring beautifully turned-out suites and grounds. Private verandas, adult-only pool, and secluded nature trails mean you and your romantic interest will have ample opportunity to enjoy yourselves away from the intruding sounds of families with children. Or try your hand at scuba-diving or kayaking.
For a hotel that provides more inclusive offerings, consider the Almond Smugglers Cove Resort in St Lucia. This resort includes several pools, including one with a swim-up bar as well as water sports, a nearby golf and country club, tennis courts, and spa. For the evening's entertainment, there are five bars to choose from.
For couples seeking nightlife, the Escape Hotel Barbados is conveniently located within walking distance of the centre of Barbados night life, while The Gap offers access to beach and bars. Upgrade your stay and enjoy breakfast in bed before heading to reserved seating on the beach, where a waiter will attend your every need.
