Ramada Opens Managed Hotel in Bangkok
Ramada Hotel and Suites Bagnkok is the first of four managed Ramada hotels due to open by 2012
The Wyndham Hotel Group, the world's largest hotel company and owner of Ramada Hotels and Suites, is opening a new hotel in Bangkok - making it the company's first managed Ramada hotel in the Asia Pacific region.
Located in the heart of the city, the 11 storey Ramada features a mixture of studio and suite accommodation - including apartment-sized facilities tailored to meet the needs of extended-stay business travellers.
All of the rooms are quite spacious and additional amenities include a complimentary continental breakfast, full-service restaurant and bar, fitness centre, a business centre, and an inviting outdoor pool and garden.
"Bangkok continues to be an important and growing market that offers great opportunity for Wyndham Hotel Group and its brands," said Ken Greene who is Wyndham Hotel Group's President and Managing Director, for the Asia Pacific market. "The addition of this newest hotel not only helps to further anchor our presence in Thailand but serves as a wonderful complement to our growing managed portfolio."
For UK business and tourist travellers, Bangkok has long been a popular destination. An eclectic mix of modern and ancient, Bangkok is dynamic city, exciting and full of amazing sights and smells; scattered with skyscrapers amidst traditional wooden homes and beautiful temples adorned with magnificent Buddha imagery.
Flights are available from London Heathrow with Thai Airways, British Airways, Qantas and EVA Air.
