Regional Airports Gain Flights With EasyJet

EasyJet will commence services between Leeds Bradford International and Geneva in December

Budget and low cost airline EasyJet has revealed that it will begin adding a number of flights to smaller, regional airports across the country. Having noted particularly good summer demand for its services, the airline has confirmed it will begin providing flights from Leeds Bradford International, in addition to services at Liverpool John Lennon and Bristol.

Between 27th March and 30th September 2011, EasyJet will be offering a total of 38 flights from Bristol Airport, which include destinations such as Tenerife, Malaga, and Alicante. The airline will also be adding services to Lyon, Salzburg and Fuerteventura from December 2010.

Liverpool John Lennon Airport will also benefit from new flights, as EasyJet seeks to fulfil customer demand. A total of 32 destinations will be served, with new services to Salzburg from 17th December, Brussels from 7th February, and Tallinn from 26th April.

The additions also mark the first time that EasyJet will provide services from Leeds Bradford International, where it will offer its customers flights to Geneva. These will be available between 17th December and 24th April, offering five flights a week for guests to quickly access the popular ski slopes of the area. Fantastic for winter sports enthusiasts, and those in the immediate area who are looking for easy destinations to travel to, EasyJet's arrival at the airport is significant one.

Commercial and Aviation Director of the airport, Tony Hallwood, said "This announcement underpins Leeds Bradford's position as one of the fastest growing airports in the UK."
