New Israeli Flights Revealed by El Al

El Al will commence the new service from November 1st

Israeli air carrier El Al has revealed that it will begin providing a low-cost service to Tel Aviv via London. Offering direct flights back and forth between Israel's largest city, the service will provide UK tourists with a cheap route to the beautiful beaches and bustling metropolis.

Flights from London Luton and Tel Aviv have seen considerable demand over the past few years, as business between Israel and the UK has rocketed. Meanwhile, with Brits increasingly looking for new and exciting destinations to experience, the tourist-friendly approach of Israel has seen a marked increase in the number of British travellers visiting the country, which is home to a multitude of World Heritage Sites.

Landing in Ben Gurion Airport, the new low-cost fares will be available to travellers from 1st November to 15th December 2010. Booking of tickets must be made before 31st October, giving those looking for a last minute break the perfect opportunity to escape from the British winter and retreat to the Mediterranean climate.

Speaking of the decision to drop the price of flights to Israel, the managing director of UK, Ireland, and Northern Europe operations for El Al, Uri Danon, explained: "Due to the sheer popularity of our flights from London to Tel Aviv, we are delighted to offer customers this new ticket price. We hope 'Star Choice' will enable passengers to spontaneously visit family and friends or just escape the UK this winter for the cultural climes of Israel."

And with prices available from just £275, a spontaneous trip to Israel could be just what many need.
