New Business Club Class Launched by Iberia

Iberia has launched a new Business Club class for a range of flights out of Madrid

Popular airline Iberia has revealed the launch of its new Business Club class, designed for passengers travelling on lengthy medium-haul flights. Currently operating on flights from the airline's Madrid base, the company's recent association with British Airways will mean that more people than ever before will be travelling with Iberia, with many Brits changing for connections at the Spanish capital.

The first flight to include the new class has already made its maiden voyage, and Business Club will soon be included on Iberia aircraft travelling to places such as Cairo, Lagos, Malabo, and Tel Aviv. The new class, which provides seats for up to 14 individuals per flight, includes wide 55cm seats with adjustable backs, in addition to head, foot and leg rests. Personal storage locations are provided, as is a single coat hook. Each passenger in Business Club class will also be provided with their very own PlayStation Portable, with HD television films and a collection of television series available to watch, in addition to various audio channels.

Food and drink will also be upgraded, and travellers can expect original dishes created by Sergi Arola, one of Spain's most celebrated chefs. A range of exotic fine wines will also be available to passengers travelling on medium and long haul flights.

The new Business Club class is likely to prove popular for many looking for the next level in luxury when flying. And with Madrid proving a central hub for many connecting flights around the world, the ability to utilise Iberia's latest medium haul class will be welcomed.
