Bermuda Makes Top Diving Location
The New York Times has named Bermuda as one of the top locations for SCUBA diving
For the thousands of divers around the world, finding the next best diving location is a continuing adventure. The Red's seas' crystal waters near Sharm El Sheikh draw many, whilst other tourists head to Phuket to discover the creatures living around the sandy shores. Now the New York Times has heralded Bermuda as a top SCUBA diving location, a tip which could send tourism numbers soaring.
Whilst Bermuda is not technically a Caribbean location, the New York Times has still listed it in its top six SCUBA diving destinations in the region. Finding a place alongside diving facilities in St. Maartan and the Dominican Republic, Bermuda is hailed to offer some of the best diving experiences in the Caribbean area. Travel correspondent for the publication, Allison Busaca, revealed that the combination of a magnificent coral reef and over three hundred wrecks to investigate made the island an excellent prospect for SCUBA divers. For a very different slant on diving, Triangle Diving's night excursion is a fantastic opportunity to explore below the seas in the twilight hours. Ms Busaca said that night diving brought an entirely new range of creatures to explore.
With SCUBA diving popular for thousands of individuals around the world, the latest list by the New York Times is likely to get enthusiasts eager to explore new locations. And with Bermuda coming as one of best to explore, demand for flights to this exotic island could see a significant rise.
