Flight Guide Offered by Glasgow Airport
Glasgow Airport has produced a new flight guide for passengers
In a move to highlight itself as an ever growing international airport, Glasgow has released a new flight guide to show passengers the various options available to them. Printing off 10,000 copies of the guide, the airport said that Glasgow was now a prime hub for long-haul flights around the world and as such, Scots will have more travel options available to them like never before.
Glasgow airport is a prime port for reaching some of the most exotic places in the world, and has produced the new holiday guide to showcase the large number of holiday hotspots that tourists could visit this winter. Airport manager, Amanda McMillan, revealed "From America to Africa to Asia, Glasgow Airport offers more long haul destinations than any other airport in Scotland, making it easier than ever for holidaying Scots to discover the world this winter."
With Scottish winters in particular often being very harsh, those living in the region may be wanting more than ever to escape the bitter months ahead and enjoy some tropical sun. Over the coming months a large range of flights will be available from the airport, offering long-haul trips to destinations including Tunisia, and Mexico. Meanwhile, top European destination including Antayla, Lanzarote, and Amsterdam will also be available. And with Glasgow's new guide offering individuals the chance to peruse through possible holiday destinations at their own leisure, an influx of winter custom may be seen as Scots seek out some winter warmth.
