New Brand Image Revealed by Turkish Airlines
Turkish Airlines have ordered an additional 105 aircraft to increase the size of their existing fleet
In a move to overhaul their fleet and offer passengers the ultimate travel experience, Turkish Airlines have revealed a brand new image for their firm. With new logo, livery, and aircraft interiors, the flagship airline for Turkey hopes that the new look will help them compete with global firms.
Turkish Airlines already have a large fleet and this will increase greatly in size with an extra 105 aircraft on order, which will arrive with the brand new cabins already fitted. Meanwhile the new carrier will be refitting their current Boeing and Airbus planes for a uniform image. Created by experienced airline design company Priestmangoode, the new Business Class seats will have a grey tulip pattern, leather headrest with embossed logo, and the company's red signature hue used on its seatbelts. Meanwhile, the Premium cabin will use tones of brown, grey, and green for textiles and stitching. And having worked on First Class cabins for both Jet Airways and SWISS Airlines, Priestmangoode's latest design is likely to be welcomed by business and first class travellers.
Turkish Airlines' move comes as competition between carriers continues to increase. And with 2011 expected to see tourism to Turkey boom, they could not have made the changes at a better time. With Brits looking for new and exciting locations to visit, and Turkey becoming a Mediterranean destination that is increasingly accessible and tourist friendly, flights with the carrier from Heathrow and Stanstead could prove highly popular.
