New Flights to France with Flybe Revealed

Flybe will be providing three new routes between Southampton and France from next summer

Regional and low cost airline Flybe has revealed that it will be providing new flights to France in summer 2011. Offering travellers more options in flying to some favourite destinations, the airline reported that Southampton would host three new routes.

With France a popular holiday destination for British people, travellers will be able to fly to three new hotspots next year with the new services from Southampton airport. Starting the flights in 2011, Beziers will have services from May 27th until September 10th. Meanwhile, travellers will be able to utilise new services to Clermont-Ferrand from May 21st, and Pau from May 25th, both until September 10th. Services to both Pau and Beziers will operate twice a week, whilst those to Clermont-Ferrand will offer three weekly options.

Speaking of the new available service, Flybe chief commercial officer, Mike Rutter said "We are pleased to announce these three new routes to France from Southampton that complement our ten existing routes for those travelling to and from regional France." Meanwhile, Southampton's marketing and communications director, Jan Halliday, revealed that the routes were likely to be extremely popular with both business and holiday customers in the local region. Offering a new range of destinations and a number of flights per week throughout the summer season, Flybe's services from Southampton are set to save customers significant money that they would otherwise spend on travelling to other international British airports.
