South Africa to Welcome New Hotels
A Park Inn Hotel is to be built in Cape Town next year
In the wake of this summer's 2010 FIFA World Cup, South Africa is to build on its global image by hosting two new hotels. Developed by the Rezidor Hotel Group, new Radisson accommodation will be built in Kruger National Park, whilst a Park Inn hotel will be created in Cape Town.
Adding to the success of the World Cup, and continuing to build an image as an international and safe holiday destination, South Africa's new hotels will provide a larger range of accommodation for both business people and those on their holidays. The Kruger Park Radisson Blu Safari Resort will, in particular, host those looking for an enthralling and exciting safari. Built by the southern border of Kruger National Park, the resort will be the first international hotel in the region, bringing global standards to the famous safari destination.
Meanwhile in Cape Town, a new 120 suite Park Inn Cape Town Foreshore hotel is set to open. Available to guest from the end of 2011, the converted hotel will be situated in the city's central business district making it ideal for guests travelling to the nation for work purposes. The development will also build on Rezidor's recent expansion in Johannesburg where a Sandton hotel was opened earlier this year.
South Africa continues to reap the benefits of this past summer's football championships, attracting people from across the globe. Flights can be found from a range of airports including London Heathrow, offering easy and competitively priced travel. And with South Africa's position as a rising hotspot, the new hotels will offer even more comfort and luxury to those exploring the country.
