New Cabins Revealed by bmi
BMI are refurbishing the economy and business class cabins on its Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft
British airline bmi has revealed new cabins for both economy and business classes. Refurbishing its Airbus A320 and A321, the carrier has already begun rolling out the brand new look for travellers to enjoy on mid-haul flights.
Carrying out extensive work on cabin classes throughout its fleet, bmi has overhauled its previous look and replaced décor with features such as leather interiors, a modern lighting system, and comfortable cushions. New bulk heads have been added, as well as fresh curtains and leather covers to all seats in both classes.
With the fleet-wide refurbishment due to be finished by May 2011, the upgrade is the latest step to encourage demand and provide passengers with a modern and chic looking interior. Those travelling to destinations such as Moscow, Cairo, Khartoum, Amman, and Damascus will benefit from the new look from both Airbuses.
Speaking about the new look and refurbishment works, chief executive of the airline, Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, said “The interior changes are the final touches to a full overhaul of our mid-haul fleet that has included repainting the aircraft to the full bmi colour scheme from their temporary livery.” He added that the company had a continuing commitment to providing the best possible services for their customers, with a chic new look being just part of the appeal. And with the entire feel being overhauled over the coming months, bmi looks set to enter 2011 with a fresh and updated look.
