Makeover to be Revealed by Lufthansa
Lufthansa will unveil its latest fleet makeover, including new dining options, on December 15th
German airline Lufthansa is expected to unveil its latest fleet makeover on December 15th, showcasing a new Business Class in addition to their latest service concepts. Including a shakeup of their existing meal services, the airline will be dividing cabins into a large number of bands, offering a greater variety of choice for travellers.
Talking of the revamp, a spokesperson for Lufthansa explained "It will be a comprehensive revamp of our continental fleet including new seats and a new in-flight service concept. It will mean, for sure, more comfort and service in economy-class, as well as strengthening our premium-carrier approach." Whilst the company's business services will be split into four, five bands will be created for economy, with different meal options for each category.
In addition to revamping both menu and class options, Lufthansa will be offering a greater number of seats. Introducing a slimmer seating plan on 200 planes there will be over 2,000 new seats available by the end of 2011. Adding as much as two extra rows of seats to each flight, in addition to extra legroom, the overhaul will mean that even more passengers than ever can take advantage of the companies services. And with the popular airline flying to destinations including Milan, Munich, and Hamburg, passengers can look forward to a host of new travel options.
