SWISS Offer Flights with New Business Services
Switzerland's national carrier SWISS has taken delivery of a new Airbus A340-300
Switzerland's national carrier SWISS has revealed that it will offer new business class services on flights. Taking delivery of its latest Airbus A340-300 in Zurich, the new plane was named "Frauenfeld" and took to its first flight to New York.
Whilst the new business services will largely be available on long haul flights from Zurich, the news will be welcomed by British business travellers who may be using the Swiss city as a connection hub. With the large, three class A340-300's operating routes to South America, Africa and Asia, in addition to North America, the luxurious services will be of huge benefit to those travelling long distances.
SWISS's new business class cabins are far more spacious than previous designs, with more storage and shelf space for passengers to use. Travellers can enjoy outstanding Swiss cuisine consisting of five-course meals, which have been created by some of the country's top chefs. The business class amenity bag is created by designer Navyboot, with travellers also able to request extra products including mouthwash, moisturising cream, shaving equipment, and lip balm. iPod and USB connections are offered for all seats, with 30cm long entertainment screens also on offer for maximum enjoyment.
With Zurich being such an important international hub, the news will be welcomed by all travellers that regularly pass through the airport. And with the business services being rolled out across the entire SWISS fleet by the end of 2011, those travelling with the airline can enjoy the best in comfort and luxury.
