New Polish Business Lounge to Open

LOT Polish Airlines have opened a new business lounge at Chopin Airport

It has been revealed that LOT Polish Airlines have opened a new business lounge at Chopin Airport in Warsaw. Offering a comfortable oasis of calm for those passengers travelling back to the UK, the lounge opened on December 22nd and can be used by individuals travelling on any Star Alliance airline.

Officially called the Polonaise Business Lounge the new area is located in Chopin Airport's Terminal A and offers comfortable surroundings to travellers waiting to depart Warsaw. Passengers who hold Star Alliance Gold membership or are part of Lufthansa's Miles and More scheme with FTL, Senator, or HON status will be able to make use of the lounge. Open from 5am until 11pm the 527sqm lounge has leather armchairs and sofas in as well as a great selection of food and drink. Free Wi-Fi is also offered as are a number of desktop computers for those travelling without laptops or other portable devices.

When asked about the opening of the new lounge LOT Polish Airline's chief executive officer, Marcin Pirog, explained "I believe that LOT's passengers in business class will be pleased, especially since we did our best to meet the highest global living standards."  

Passengers travelling back to the UK after business trips or holidays in Poland will also find the lounge of great use. Given that in addition to the other facilities there are separate facilities for those with children the lounge will cater to both individuals and families travelling in business and first class.
