Flights With Continental Excel With First Sky Interior
Continentals new Boeing jet offers ultimate comfort to passengers
It has been announced that American airline Continental have become the first operator in the states to receive a Boeing jet with the new Sky Interior package. A major revamp of the plane offers a host of new features in addition to a modern and upgraded design. And for those travelling aboard these new planes, comfort is clearly the key word.
The new 737-800 Boeing's have received a huge makeover, with the latest technologies and designs being incorporated into the aircraft. Lighting systems, ceiling panels, stowage bins, passenger service units, and even flight attendant panels have been upgraded meaning that all travellers will have a better level of style and comfort. Stowage bins rise into the ceiling, offering large holdall space and more room in cabins. LED lights are more economical as well as attractive, and offer a range of colour schemes. All of this results in a quieter cabin with better placed switches and facilities will make travelling even more comfortable than before.
Talking of the upgrades vice president of Continental's fleet, Ron Baur, said "When customers first step on the plane, they will immediately notice the fresh cabin architecture. This modern interior gives the airplane a more open look and feel while increasing cabin comfort and overhead storage space."
Providing business and first class seats, Continental's new 737-800 aircraft will hail a new period of comfort for travellers. Whilst the company may be the first to receive such a plane, the introduction of the new Boeing will certainly provide better comfort for travellers around the world.
