Mexico is set to become a popular summer hotspot

Whilst Mexico remains popular with tourists as a travel hotspot between October and May, travel experts are forecasting that the location is going to become more popular as a summer getaway. With the British summer coinciding with Mexico's 'off season', a number of great deals could be found.

Destinations such as Cancun, Mexico City, and Acapulco have become popular with British holidaymakers searching for an exotic winter getaway. However, with an increasing number of individuals wanting to find great deals this summer whilst being more adventurous in their destination choice, experts have expressed that Mexico could prove ideal. With the nation's 'green' season starting in June, travellers will find a wealth of deals in some of the country's chicest hotels.

Mexico's accommodation is one of its major attractions for travellers, with destinations offering a range of modern, stylish and chic hotels. The Yucatan Peninsula's Mayan sites have several great Starwood haciendas located nearby in San Jose, Temozon, and Santa Rosa. Meanwhile the Pacific Coast's Verana offers secretive luxury, whilst absolute beauty can be experienced at the Mahakua Hacienda de San Antonio.

Travelling to Mexico in the off peak season is also likely to be cheaper, with a number of flight deals available. A range of airlines including Air Canada, Iberia, and KLM offer flights from British airports, and though Mexico may be thought of as a winter destination, taking opportunity of its non peak summer season could really pay dividends in great deals.
