Business Flights with Qantas Get Baggage Benefits
Qantas airline Business class passengers will receive benefits when it comes to baggage allowance
Popular Australian airline Qantas has revealed that travellers flying in their luxury cabins are to receive benefits when it comes to baggage allowances. In addition to frequent flyers with high status, passengers in First Class and Business Class will receive extra baggage allowances free of charge.
From June 1st, Qantas will make these changes to both its international and domestic flights. Of major importance to those travelling back and forth from the UK, the allowances will be available to Silver, Gold, and Platinum frequent flyers, in addition to Business and First class travellers. Whilst individuals may continue to fly with as many bags as they like, Business Class and Qantas Club members will both see 2kg increases from their respective 30kg and 40kg allowances. Meanwhile, Silver and Gold frequent flyers will see more than a 50per cent increase for their baggage weights, with the current 40kg limit rocketing to 64kg. And for those frequent flyers who are Platinum members, 64kg is allowed no matter what class individuals choose to travel in.
The changes to Qantas' baggage allowances will be significant for those who regularly use the airline to fly internationally. Whilst international destinations in the Americas are not included in the scheme, for those in the UK wanting to make use of the airline's services, the alterations will prove invaluable. Whether flying from Manchester, Glasgow, or London airports for business or leisure, the extra allowances will be welcomed by all.
