Dubai Still Offers Great Appeal
Dubai remains a popular tourist hotspot
There was a time when Dubai became the new glittering holiday hotspot for British sun seekers, with thousands flocking to this vibrant city every year to catch the new buzz. Whilst this urban metropolis in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) may no longer be the latest big thing, Dubai still offers a great deal of variety for individuals looking for a trip of a lifetime.
Leading holiday journalists continue to highlight the Middle East and in particular the UAE, as a brilliant holiday destination. Whilst many of Emirate State's cities including Al Ain and Abu Dhabi are increasing in popularity, it is Dubai that continues to offer the vast array of entertainment for travellers to enjoy.
For those interested in shopping, Dubai is home to some of the most lavish shopping malls ever seen, easily offering a full day out. Meanwhile its spice and gold souks are perfect for exploring, offering visitors the opportunity to shop and immerse themselves in the local culture.
The biggest water theme park in the UAE, Wild Wadi, is situated in the heart of the city, within sight of one of the middle east's most iconic sights - the famous hotel The Burj. With stunning beaches, desert spas and resorts, and the chance to explore the dunes by buggy or camel, Dubai will certainly leave visitors with one, if not many, fantastic memories.
Travelling to Dubai is very easy, with its popularity as a destination leading many airlines to fly there from British airports. Air France, Oman Air, and Kuwait Airways all offer services from a range of UK airports.
