Hotels Strengthen Economically As Turkey's Popularity Grows
More hotel choices for visitors to Turkey than ever before
It has been revealed by a leading tourism economics expert that as Turkey's popularity as a holiday destination has increased, so too has the hotel industry's building programme, with more choices available to visitors than ever before. Whilst many European markets have suffered from the recession, numbers of holidaymakers to Turkish cities such as Antalya and Bodrum have remained strong. With new hotel developments being pushed through, travellers have more choice than ever before as to where to stay.
Talking of the growth in tourism over the past twenty years, co-founder of the CEEMEA Business Group, Nenad Pacek said that interest in the nation had grown by more than 1,000 per cent. "Turkey will continue to attract inbound investment and this is not surprising considering that it is pegged to be one of the fastest growing markets over the next decade," Mr Pacek explained.
The news will be of great interest to those either invested in businesses in the region, or holidaymakers looking for somewhere new to visit. A range of new hotel developments are offering more choice than ever before, including Istanbul's new Pera Palace Hotel which is to receive the 'Best New Hotel' award from Central Asia & Turkey Hotel Investment Conference (CATHIC). So with a greater number of airlines offering services from airports such as London Luton, Manchester, and Birmingham, individuals wanting to enjoy Turkey's charms can easily find flights to this upcoming region.
