British Airways Tips Dubrovnik as Holiday Hotspot
Dubrovnik tipped by British Airways as a hotspot
Undertaking a new campaign to highlight some of the world's best urban hotspots, popular airline British Airways (BA) has said that Dubrovnik is a top destination to explore. Offering a top list of locations that would get tourists out and about, the airline says that the Croatian city is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
Rolling out the advertising, which carries the slogan 'Around every corner is a new adventure', BA has highlighted 45 cities that they consider to the most extraordinary on the planet. Whilst many famous and iconic destinations such as Paris and New York are included in the line-up, the airline has also included several destinations which provide a great alternative to the well travelled hotspots.
For those looking for Eastern European charm, an extensive cultural history, and the chance to escape the British winter in favour of some Mediterranean sun, Croatia is the ideal place. In addition, with CNN's top ten marriage proposal locations also including Dubrovnik, this city retreat is likely to see huge gains in popularity. Add into the equation that the nearby island of Lokrum has been lauded as one of the regions most romantic spots, it is the ideal city retreat for couples.
Travelling to Dubrovnik from the UK is easy, with a range of flights available from both Manchester and Gatwick starting at under £150 return. So with the positive exposure of this city's urban delights, demand for flights is set to soar.
