St Kitts set to be a top holiday destination in 2011

For British travellers wanting a tropical and exotic adventure there is no better place to visit than the Caribbean.  With St. Kitts featuring in two top ten destination lists for 2011, this island in the sun is set to become a very popular paradise destination this year.

AOL Travel, a top ranking travel website, revealed on January 10th that St. Kitts & Nevis was number four in its top ten destinations of the year. Meanwhile, British Airways made a similar announcement at the end of last year, also placing the island in fourth place on its list of top ten holiday locations. Ricky Skerritt, Minister of Tourism & International Transport Senator for the region expressed his delight at the accolades by saying "Earning this distinction from two top travel entities is a clear indication that our strategy for the development of St. Kitts' destination experience is working".

St. Kitts offers those on holiday a luxurious location that can only be described as paradise. Whilst there is plenty of natural landscape to be found in the islands beautiful rainforests, the area has also been developed to offer visitors a range of exciting attractions. Beaches are well serviced, with scuba diving, beach bars, and other beach facilities readily available. Meanwhile, the island also has many amenities including golf courses, tennis courts, casinos, and gourmet restaurants providing both local and international cuisine.

A range of airlines provide routes to St. Kitts, including Virgin Atlantic, Air France, and American Airlines. So for those who want a luxurious holiday this year, St. Kitts & Nevis has been hailed as one of the best possible locations.
