Air France Offers New Flights to Caribbean

New Caribbean Flights are Announced by Air France

French airline Air France has revealed that they are to offer new flights to two prime Caribbean destinations, offering passengers more choice in Caribbean travel. Providing the services from Charles de Gaulle airport, British tourists will have increased options to fly to Pointe-a-Pitre and Fort-de-France.

Charles de Gaulle is an airport which remains a central connection hub for many British travellers who are flying to destinations around the world. With services to the Caribbean expanding, the tropical islands are more accessible from Europe than ever before. So with Air France's latest announcement British sunseekers will have the choice of flying via Orly or Charles de Gaulle.

Starting from 4th November, passengers will be able to fly to Guadeloupe's Pointe-a-Pitre and Martinique's Fort-de-France with more choice of flights. Each service will be weekly, with Pointe-a-Pitre flying out of Charles de Gaulle on Sundays. Meanwhile, weekly services to Fort-de-France will leave on Saturdays. Adding a fresh boost in tourism to the exotic holiday destination as current flights are only available though Paris Orly, restricting the numbers of passengers able to take advantage of such flights.

There are currently 26 weekly flights to both of these exotic Caribbean locations with Air France. However, it is hoped that the new flights will be preferable to British travellers as they can travel via the larger and better known Charles de Gaulle.  With the Caribbean a prime location for escaping the winter cold, those looking ahead to autumn breaks will be particularly interested in Air France's new services.
