Gulf Air lounge set to open at Heathrow Airport

It has been revealed by the national carrier of Bahrain, Gulf Air, that a new lounge is to be opened in London Heathrow's Terminal 4. Offering Business Class passengers an outstanding area to relax in, the lounge will open in March and provide a number of features and services to make travel more comfortable.

From 8th March, Business Class passengers travelling with Gulf Air will be able to access the contemporary, 600 square metre lounge at Heathrow Airport. Decorated with an Arabian feel, large windows allow natural light to illuminate the Bahraini paintings adorning the walls, whilst guests will have great views out across the runway. The lounge will also create a relaxed setting, alternating its mood lighting at different times of the day to help visitors relax. A fully equipped business centre with free WiFi and IMac computers will allow business people to catch up on work if they want to. Meanwhile, for those who want to freshen up, separate male and female shower rooms are available.

The news will be welcomed by Business Class travellers who have been expecting the new lounge since 2009. Severe delays meant that the billion pound deal was put off for 12 months, with customers having to use the Skyteam lounge instead. However, with the new lounge incorporating facilities for more than 30 people including TV's, prayer room, refreshments and more, guests will certainly welcome the 8th March opening.
