Edinburgh Unveils New easyJet Flights

Low cost airline easyJet has revealed a host of new services which are to begin operating from the Scottish city of Edinburgh. Whilst a new flight to London Gatwick will start this summer, locals wanting to fly to foreign shores, will be able to do so courtesy of new services to Grenoble, Athens, and Tenerife.

As easyJet looks to increase its portfolio of services on offer at Edinburgh, both new domestic and international services have been unveiled. From June a new daily flight will be available from the city to London Gatwick, offering leisure and business passenger's convenient transport to London.

For those wanting to use easyJet's services to fly abroad, a number of new flights will be available from September. From September 19th two weekly flights to Tenerife will begin, providing individuals with the perfect opportunity to escape to the Mediterranean for some sun. Meanwhile, a Grenoble service will also be launched around the same time, providing the perfect excuse to explore France. Finally, a new Athens service will make its inaugural flight on the 20th of September and provide three flights a week. And with Edinburgh already dubbed 'The Athens of the North' because of its Grecian style architecture, this service will be a great opportunity for those wanting to visit the Greek capital.

The news will be welcomed by individuals starting to make plans for their autumn holidays. With many people wanting short breaks as the winter looms, easyJet's new flights could provide the perfect service.
