Easter Destinations Revealed As Flights See Increased Demand
Destinations Such as Las Vegas see an Increase in Flight Demand Over the Easter Period
With Easter only just around the corner, many British travellers are already taking the time to book holidays to make the most of this popular spring break. With an extra bank holiday due to the royal wedding there is an added incentive to go away during the school holidays. With this in mind a number of destinations have been highlighted as likely to be particularly popular in 2011.
The Easter holidays are a popular time for many to go on holiday, with Good Friday and Easter Monday giving a long weekend break. In addition to these two days, the 29th April will also be a bank holiday this year due to the Royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. For this reason, Easter breaks are proving even more popular this year with flights to specific locations noting increased demand.
For individuals wanting to explore North America, Las Vegas and New York flights are popular, with holidaymakers wanting to enjoy breaks in these iconic cities. Mexico's Cancun is also noting increased interest as individuals look for some culture and hot temperatures. Meanwhile, many people are opting to stay within Europe, with flights to Venice and Dubrovnik, are also soaring in popularity as travellers get ahead and plan their getaways.
Elsewhere, destinations in the Caribbean are also proving popular, especially for family groups wanting tropical beach holidays. And with even more flights available to this region, and other popular hotspots, those wanting to make the most of their Easter holidays can easily travel to locations all around the planet.
