Hollywood is Still a Top Holiday Destination
Los Angeles is one of the most iconic cities in the world. Home to America's movie industry and the equally famous Hollywood sign which has been the backdrop to more than a few popular movies. So for individuals wanting to explore somewhere special, Los Angeles has more than its fair share of film locations to visit.
For over one hundred years Hollywood has been producing blockbuster films loved all around the world. So for this reason, any trip to Los Angeles is not complete without a tour of a few famous film backdrops. Horror fans will discover houses featured in both Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween. Hollywood Bowl was featured in Beaches, whilst many spots around the city, including Las Palmas Hotel, were backdrops for the iconic Richard Gere and Julia Roberts film Pretty Woman.
For film buffs the trip won't be complete without a visit to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Kodak Theatre which is home to the Academy Awards. Meanwhile, there are several tours which give individuals the opportunity to explore the locations of the houses and mansions of many famous A-list actors.
