New Entertainment Offered on Flights with Virgin Atlantic
Virgin Atlantic Soon to Offer New Entertainment Systems on Flights
It has been revealed by iconic airline Virgin Atlantic that they will soon be providing passengers with the latest in in-flight entertainment. As part of a new relationship with Panasonic Avionics Corporation, award winning systems will soon be installed, offering individuals some of the best devices on offer in the aviation industry.
With Virgin Atlantic readying themselves to receive a new fleet of Airbus A330 aircraft, the airline said that the planes would be equipped with eXPhone communication services and eX2 entertainment systems. With the eX2 system passengers will be able to create playlists for their journeys, search for movies, read comments from critics and be able to rate entertainment after they have watched films. Meanwhile, the eXPhone service will allow those in the air to make calls and send and receive both text messages and emails.
Speaking of the integration of the latest award winning technology, chief executive officer of Virgin Atlantic, Steve Ridgway, said "Virgin Atlantic has a well-deserved reputation for leading the way in in-flight entertainment and technology - we were the first airline to offer individual seat-back TVs for all passengers almost 20 years ago - and I have no doubt this system will again set new standards that our competitors will seek to follow."
Already a popular airline for many people, the latest announcement is set to attract even more customers wanting the best services on their flights. And with Virgin Atlantic rolling out new flights on their latest aircraft, passengers can expect to see the technology upgrades over the coming months.
