British Airways Reveal New Flights to Jordan
New Flights to Jordan are Announced by British Airways
Only a number of weeks after low cost airline easyJet revealed it was to offer new flights to Jordan from London Gatwick, British Airways (BA) have announced similar routes. Making use of a new codeshare agreement with Royal Jordanian, BA will offer passengers direct services to Amman from London Heathrow.
Business and tourism travel to the Middle East is still increasing in popularity as British travellers look for new destinations and hotspots to discover. Unlike some of its neighbours, Jordan remains a relatively stable nation, offering a rich and historical country for tourists to explore. Its capital, Amman, is of particular interest for many as it is far removed from many typical Middle Eastern cities, offering a culturally diverse, technologically advanced and modern metropolis to discover. Elsewhere there are a huge number of historical monuments to visit including desert citadels, Roman cities, biblical locations and castles all of which are easy distance from Amman.
With Amman becoming a safer city to visit and with easyJet already offering services, BA will now begin daily flights to the capital providing direct access for those going on both business and leisure trips. Aircraft will make use of both economy and business class fares providing customers with more travel choice. And whilst the service will be operated by Royal Jordanian, travellers will be able to book their flights directly with British Airways for travel from April 19th.
