Belize Set for Tourism Increase
Tourism set to Increase for Belize
Officials in Belize have revealed that large investment plans are set to make the nation a very attractive holiday option for British travellers. Travelling to Central America can often be unaffordable for many, but with a host of cheap flights and an increase in amenities, the country's Tourism Agency expect to attract more visitors than ever before.
Belize is a location that is widely associated with luxurious holidays, decadent spas and beautiful tropical beaches. Local government in the nation has now revealed that £4m is to be spent improving amenities in the Ambergris Caye region, providing international guests with clean and modern facilities. In addition to new services, the area will also gain a dock, water taxi terminal and a stunning two kilometre promenade for visitors to explore.
The plans come as Central America notes an increase in tourism from British holidaymakers wanting new, exciting and unspoilt holiday locations. An exotic mix of Caribbean seas and Central American jungle, Belize offers a little bit of paradise for everyone. Long beaches and clear waters offering sunbathing, snorkelling and a host of other water sports, whilst those wanting to explore the forests can do so with a number of excursions. Alternatively, many visitors can simply find inner peace by relaxing in one of the luxury spas surrounded by stunning scenery.
With a range of flights available from London Heathrow, including services with Delta, American Airlines and KLM, travel is often cheaper than first thought. And with new amenities gracing the area, Belize is set to become more popular than ever.
