New Hawaiian Hotel to Offer Much Needed Accommodation
Hawaii's Maui is to Gain a New Marriott Hotel
Marriott have revealed that plans to build a beautiful new 138 room Courtyard hotel in Maui are to go ahead. Though the $16.5m hotel has been in development since 2001, economic changes have allowed the hotel group to finally start building on the site near Kahului airport.
Until now there has been a huge lack of accommodation options for guests who want to stay conveniently near to the airport. Business in particular is built around Maui's main airport, but with a lack of hotels nearby, those travelling to the island for work have found finding accommodation difficult.
With the Marriott developing the new site it is expected that the hotel will appeal to those travelling to Maui for both business and leisure. This will be Hawaii's third Courtyard hotel and the complex will include meeting rooms and a business centre for those travelling for work. Guests will also be able to make use of a fitness centre, bar and lounge and pool in addition to various laundry options and surfboard storage for those wanting to enjoy the islands water sports.
Demand for flights to Maui remains high as the island is continuously appearing in polls as one of the world's top romantic destinations. Luxurious resorts are plentiful near the island's incredible gorgeous beaches, whilst water sports ranging from surfing and wind surfing to whale watching and diving are all available. With volcanic craters and jungles also convenient for exploration, there is no end of exciting attractions to enjoy. And with the new Marriott hotel soon to grace the island, finding accommodation with easy access to the airport will be easier than ever before.
