Abu Dhabi Set for Popular Summer
Abu Dhabi are set to Welcome a High Number of Tourists in 2011
The Middle East has been an attractive holiday destination for British travellers for many years, with thousands of people travelling to Dubai every year. This gleaming city is the UAE's top holiday retreat for many, and with a great climate and a huge range of entertainment it is the perfect place for a luxurious getaway. However, other locations have also been trying to get in on the action and this summer Abu Dhabi is set to see its highest numbers of tourists yet.
Whilst the bustle of Dubai is enjoyed by many, others prefer to visit places which aren't quite as popular. Dubai is easily accessible from many locations across the UAE, particularly Abu Dhabi, meaning that twin centre holidays are easily achieved. In addition, many hotels outside of Dubai offer complimentary shuttle buses to the city, allowing tourists even more travel options.
With Abu Dhabi quickly becoming the new hot favourite it has been revealed that flights are expected to have increased by almost 13 per cent this summer when compared against the same months in 2010. With over 80 airports in almost 50 countries enjoying 900 plus flights per week, access to Abu Dhabi has never before been this easy. Etihad Airways in particular has been a leading airline in providing new routes and additional flights to tourists. So for those who want to enjoy a Middle Eastern holiday this year away from the excesses of Dubai, Abu Dhabi looks to be the perfect alternative.
