Flights with Jet2 Introduce Children's Entertainment
Children's Entertainment Introduced by Jet2
With the summer holiday season looming and many parents preparing to take children abroad, trying to find enough entertainment to engage little ones whilst travelling can be difficult. Even the shortest journey can quickly tire out youngsters and in a confined space such as an aeroplane it can be difficult to calm anxious individuals. However, in a bid to offer entertainment and help parents out a little Jet2 have revealed new kids activities.
The new children's entertainment scheme comes as Jet2 revealed that they are to be raising funds for Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Located near Doncaster the park has recently rescued 13 lions from a zoo in Romania, naming one of the new residents Jettoo. This little lion has become the airlines mascot and now even has a cuddly toy which is available on flights and provides a £1 donation for each sale to the park.
In addition to the airlines new cuddly toy friend there are several new options to help entertain children aboard both short and long flights. Specially created children's meals will be available in addition to the normal menu options, whilst activity packs can also be used as an extra means to entertain children.
Speaking of the latest introductions, Jet2's managing director, Ian Doubtfire, said "Even short flights can seem like a long time to little ones, so we wanted to introduce a few different elements to keep them entertained and well fed - which also helps mum and dad to sit back, relax and enjoy the flight!" So for tourists travelling this summer, Jet2's extra entertainment is a great incentive to fly with them.
