Delta Passengers to Enjoy New Gatwick Lounge
The Luxury of Gatwick's 'Super Lounge' is now Available to Delta's Business Class Passengers
It has been revealed that American airline Delta has made an agreement with lounge developer No.1 Traveller to allow its customers to enjoy luxury treatment at Gatwick Airport. Under the new scheme, Delta's Elite Members and those flying in Business Class will be allowed to enjoy Gatwick's new 'super lounge'.
Located in the North Terminal, the Gatwick lounge was opened last week and offers a range of facilities for travellers. A staffed bar and complimentary bistro menu is available, in addition to entertainment options including family rooms, free Wi-Fi and a mini cinema. The lounge also has a Travel Spa where passengers can receive luxurious treatments including facials, pedicures, rufa fish pedicures and hairdressing. A business centre is available for those who want to work on the move, and foreign currency can be delivered to the lounge. There is also a personal shopping service available for those wanting to enjoy World Duty Free options.
Founder of No.1 Traveller, Phil Cameron, explained that they were bringing travellers more choice than ever before. "We're delighted to be opening a new, world-class lounge at Gatwick, which will change the pre-flight offer for over seven million passengers," he said.
The new lounge will be greatly welcomed as additional facilities to those already offered in Gatwick's South Terminal. And for Delta passengers, the new agreement will make travelling with the airline even more attractive.
