Egypt is a Perfect Destination for a Cheap Holiday

It has been revealed that locations in Tunisia and Egypt are the perfect summer getaway for individuals wanting cheap breaks.  With civil unrest bringing negative publicity to both nations, holiday prices have plummeted. However, the British foreign office says that travel to these locations is still relatively safe compared to normal, and as long as tourists stay in contact with tour operators they foresee no problems.

Egypt in particular can be a good destination at this time of year, with resorts in Luxor and Sharm el Sheikh proving to be popular cheap getaways for many people.  However, with recent political struggles many resorts are currently less than half full.  In fact, some hotels only have 5 per cent occupancy and are desperate for tourists.  This has led to many holidays plummeting by between 20 and 50 per cent in cost, offering the ideal holiday getaway for those wanting cheap deals this summer.

The current guidelines from the British foreign office is that travel to both Egypt and Tunisia is safe as long as individuals stay in contact with operators and airlines so that they can leave if they need to.  But with this advice similar for a vast number of developing countries across the world, those seeking a discounted and great summer break would do well to take advantage of the current low cost deals.
