Florida's sunny spot of Palm Beach has proved extremely popular in a newly ranked list of worldwide holiday destinations. Whilst the thriving location was ranked as the ninth best luxury destination in the U.S, it was also ranked 11th for the best summer vacation in the world.

In a study which takes into consideration both consumer and expert opinions, the US News & World Report revealed that Palm Beach continues to be a much loved and visited global hotspot. Local resident and chief executive of the Palm Beach County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Jorge Pesquera, said "This unbiased acknowledgment is a testament to our destination's ability to provide the best vacation experience possible, not only in Florida but worldwide."

Palm Beach itself is perfect for those looking for a beach getaway, with over 47 miles of gorgeous beaches bordering the Atlantic. There are numerous cultural venues and sporting activities in addition to the option to just laze in the sun. Meanwhile, world class dining, spas, golf, and more than 200 hotels along with boutiques and resorts make it an ideal place to stay on holiday. And with the latest leagues showing that the area is a global hotspot, it is likely to become even more popular with travellers than ever before.
