Aer Lingus has revealed that it is to offer new routes from Cork in the winter. Providing an alternative travel option for those living in Ireland and normally having to travel to Belfast, the new flights will offer destinations including Barcelona, Gran Canaria and Rome.
With winter holidays popular for many, offering the chance to get away from the cold and enjoy some Mediterranean sun, Aer Lingus announced the host of new flights for their winter portfolio. Starting on 30th October a new route to Las Palmas will offer one flight per week, whilst there will be three weekly flights between Cork and Barcelona. An additional service between Cork and Rome will also commence, offering two flights every week.
In addition to the Cork based flights, Aer Lingus has revealed new services also to run from Dublin and Belfast, with the latter seeing new twice weekly flights to Alicante and Rome. Elsewhere, the new service between Dublin and Stuttgart is to be extended into the winter portfolio, whilst Milan will be available from Dublin as well, with four weekly services.
The host of new opportunities will be fantastic for those living in both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. This will mean that for the winter season there will be more holiday options than ever before.
