Business Class Flights with Delta Offer Flat Beds
Luxury for flights
It has been revealed that Delta Airlines is now closer than ever to offering an entire fleet outfitted with lie flat seats for Business Class passengers. Revealing that all of their Boeing 767s and 777s are now equipped with the luxurious seating, it is therefore only a matter of time before the company provide such services on all international flights on wide-bodied aircraft.
Competition is fierce in the airline industry, with each firm trying to attract as much attention as possible, particularly for premium fares such as First and Business Class. Delta has now completed installing flat bed seats for business fares on all 767-400ER and 777 aircraft, allowing passengers to be assured that top quality service will be provided. Senior vice president of marketing for Delta, Tim Mapes, revealed that all seats would enjoy direct aisle access, adding that "installing full flat-bed seats on each of our wide body international aircraft is a major component of the $2 billion investment Delta is making in our product and customer experience over the next two years."
Meanwhile, along with the aircraft upgrades, Delta is also pumping money into their New York terminals. JFK will enjoy a brand new Terminal 4 in 2013, whilst Atlanta's International Terminal will be completed in 2012. And with the company also looking at redeveloping Terminal C and D at LaGuardia, those travelling with Delta are set for even more luxury over the coming months and years.
