Flights Aboard Boeing Aircraft to become Uniform
New look for Boeing
American airplane manufacturer Boeing has revealed that they are to take steps to ensure that the cabin experience on board their aircraft is the same for each model. Whilst different plane types can vary considerably, Boeing wants to make planes as alike as possible, allowing passengers the benefit of knowing exactly what they'll get when booking a flight.
With Boeing's latest 787 proving very popular with passengers, the firm revealed that they would be making changes to their 777 and 747 to provide a common experience. Boeing's commercial airplanes cabin strategy spokesman, Pete Guard, said "I think it would be safe to presume that you'll see features move across platforms so that we can perpetuate a common look and feel and common cabin experience."
The Boeing 787 has had a large impact on the aviation industry, with a wide open entry to the plan welcoming passengers, and large overhead bins allowing for luggage to be stowed easily. Meanwhile, windows are larger than on previous models whilst an LED lighting system simulates sunrise and sunset in the cabin, bringing comfort to all passengers.
A huge number of airlines, including British Airways, Korean Air, Emirates and United Airlines, make use of a range of Boeing models for their services. And with continuity coming to the Boeing line, travellers will be able to ensure they know exactly what to expect from their cabin experience.
